Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Quantity: Serves 4
1 tbsp margarine
1 large onion - thinly sliced
2-3 tbsp corn flour
275ml (half a pint) vegetable stock
Salt, pepper, herbs
1) Melt the margarine in a large frying pan and add the thinly sliced onion. Cook the onion over a low heat until slightly caramelized.
2) Stir in the corn flour- blending very well to avoid lumps. Cook for a few minutes, stirring all the time.
3) Stir in the stock.
4) Season and simmer until the gravy has thickened.
