Chocolate Crispy Cakes
Quantity: Makes 12
I've had more complaints about this recipe (two, incidentally!) than any other, which baffles me! It turned out that one lady was using dairy milk chocolate though...that's not even in my 'recipe'! I try to fit as many cornflakes in as possible - maybe that's the problem!?
150g (6 oz) dark chocolate - chopped into small pieces to help it melt quickly.
75g (3 oz) cornflakes (or rice crispy cereal)
1) Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a bowl of boiling water. DON'T let the water splash into the chocolate. This will completely ruin the chocolate!
2) Combine the chocolate with the cornflakes. Stop adding cornflakes if they are not totally covered by the chocolate.
3) Divide the mixture between 12 paper cases/greased bun tins
4) Put them in the fridge to set.
